History beginning in 1954. at Via Garibaldi 10, in Cambiago, when the father of future entrepreneur Ernesto cut down his mulberry tree to build a work table for his son. In 1055 a chance meeting discovered the talent and high skills of Ernesto Colnago - the founder of the Italian bicycle manufacturing company Colnago. In that year, fate met him with Fiorenzo Magni. The young Colnago helps solve a mechanical problem with Magni's bike, who in turn sends him as assistant mechanic to the Giro d'Italia. Since then, Colnago's path has been one of constant ascent, driven by strong intuition and incredible creations.

Today, Colnago's product range mainly consists of road bikes, with gravel wheels being the other segment that the company is developing. All models of the brand pursue several goals: lightness, maximum performance, use of the most suitable and quality materials, innovative technologies and of course - a beautiful, elegant appearance.
