Peter's passion for challenges in long-distance transitions started in early 2017 when he went to North America and crossed one of the longest routs in the US, the Pacific Ridge Road (THP), with its impressive 4265 kilometers of the border of Mexico to the border of Canada. With this achievement he became the first Bulgarian to cross the legendary route and made the first step to the Triple Crown of the United States on Long Distance Transits. What is the Triple Crown? The three longest trips in the United States of America, the Pacific Ridge Road (4265 km), the Appalachian Trail (3500 km) and the Continental Transit (4989 km), with a total length of 12754 km form the so- Long Distance Transition Honors, Triple Crown. In 2018, Moonshine, the nickname he received from its transition to the THP, Petar successfully crossed the Appalachian Path for 109 days and was already a step away from the dream of honoring the country, and again marked the first Bulgarian crossing of the route along the east coast of North America. In March 2019, the young traveler is heading back to the United States for the last transit, the Continental, and his 497 km of behemoth. For his adventures, Peter trusted Scarpa shoes, Direct Alpine clothes, Osprey backpack, and Black Diamond axes and gaiters!
